I love my new home, would you look at that? There are temperatures in the 70s...as the *high*.
And were officially on the home stretch though I don't think it's going to really feel like it until after the 'going away' guilt party mother's throwing for the 4th. Oh yes, I'm reaaaaally looking forward to that one. Just see how textually thrilled I seem.
God I hope people turn up to it because if it's just that household I'm not pulling in the driveway.
But, as far as paperwork goes, we're on the last thing that I need other people to pull through for me; the background check. So come on Missouri state police department, paperwork!
Passports smell nice, I've decided. But then again, I regularly stand in stores and sniff notebooks so it might just be me. (I'm not obsessed with office supplies, I have no idea what you're talking about...)
Note to self, find the rest of my office supplies and see how many of them I can justify packing. Do I really *need* a three hole punch? Oh, sacrifices.
But yes, sent a note off to my recruiter to let him know we're just waiting on the last bit to come in so I can mail my crap off and we can get things moving. Only feeling slightly apprehensive that things aren't going to be done in time but that's to be expected because I'm paranoid and don't like waiting despite it being very much in my nature to put things off until the last minute. You would think I would have grown out of that by now but no, no such luck.
